No it does not bother me in the very least.

However I have a friend who absolutely hates when people do this via text message.

She actually gets super annoyed when people will say, “I am running late. I need to feed the car.”
Then they follow up w/something like, “*Oops meant cat - not car! Lol.”

Funny!

Yeah, it hurts my soul when I have to correct a text message. I absolutely only do it when the error changes my intended message.....even then, I cringe.
