When people post a correcting post right after their original post just to correct an extremely obvious typo, does that annoy you?

I only do it if I think the meaning is unclear.

But some posters are such a-holes that they are thrilled to ream people for obvious typos, so I do actually understand the instinct to correct yourself before someone else points out the error.

When the typo confuses the message meaning, correcting is 100% understandable. When the typo is quite obvious, thereโ€™s no need to correct. Itโ€™s not a thesis.
