If you move OOB for ES but are allowed to stay, what happens with MS?

I would assume the same would apply for MS and HS. If you pass the residency verification check at registration, nobody is digging deeper to see what elementary you went to and what address your homestead deduction is going toward.

I don't think there is a way to register at Deal without having having your address on it. They were sticklers with me, in terms of paperwork, and I'm in-bounds, but your address will be recorded. Whether or not, they check to see if it's in bounds, is another question. Also, it asks you on the form what school you attended the year prior.

Right, but under OP’s scenario, if they get an IB sublet with a lease, they could use that and a utility bill to register, then move home a month later. Then next year they just check DC residency because they’re already an enrolled student. Right?

Wanted to check -- do I just need the sublet for the month of enrollment? Or will I need to keep it for a few months longer, after they start attending classes?

Such an obvious troll.
