The rest will continue. The peer pressure will be to wear masks. The losers who don't will continue to be ostracized.

Sounds like bullying. You are awful. This should be brought to the administration's attention - that bullying will NOT be tolerated.

I'm good with it. In fact, I told my kid to do it.

I tell my kids their risk is so low from covid that they don't have to live in fear - we swim and drive in cars and those are statistically riskier. That's what normal people do.

Please be advised that LCPS policy against bullying includes cyber bullying by adults - like by you.

As the parent of a child being ACTUALLY bullied (unrelated to masking) I can tell you LCPS does not actually GAF about bullying.

She picked up her anti mask drama from Mommy.

+100. Kids get all this drama from parents. Mine are totally fine in masks because we never made it a big deal. Sheesh. The drama of some people.

Not to mention you can get a 6 year old to jump up and down for anything. If I jumped up and down and screamed with excitement because I got a new vacuum, my 6 year old would do it too.

MS kid reported that she didn't see any teachers w/o a mask at her school. She said she didn't have an unmasked kid in her class until last period. She did say that one boy "challenged" the bus driver this morning that he didn't have to wear a mask but once one of his friends told him he still had to wear one on the bus, he put it on. So that's good.

HS kid 1 said he saw one teacher and one office worker without a mask. He said he saw maybe 10 kids overall without masks on in his classes and while changing classes in the halls.

HS kid 2 didn't see any teachers w/o a mask. He said he didn't really pay attention in the halls, but he only remembers one kid in his Calc class w/o a mask on.

Over all, seems like business as usual. It'll be interesting to see if masks come off more and more as time goes on.

Even if you are in favor of masks, Isn’t it sort of sad that more kids didn’t take their mask off? I feel terrible for this generation.

6yo reports that she took hers off (not surprised, but she was wearing it when she got on the bus this morning), but all the other kids in her class wore masks all day. So I guess everyone thinks we are one of THOSE families now.

You know, it might just be possible that most kids really don’t care about masks nearly as much as many posters on this board do.

You are delusional. Clearly lost one too many brain cells hanging out in the "smoking lounges" 30 years ago with fellow "phuck-ups."

Please, shut the "phuck" up.
