Uber Eats drivers can't just decline orders. They have to take the orders that are given to them or they face a penalty. |
Uhhh, fake news ![]() |
How do you know she doesn’t tip??? |
LMAO I’ve never once tipped on Uber eats, instacart or Walmart+. I deliver weekly and no I’m not blacklisted. If my delivery window is 9-10am I usually get my order towards the end of my window, but whatever. I’m not tipping! |
Thanks for letting us know you’re cheap trash. |
No problem! No one tips me to do my job, so I’m not tipping you either! There’s $15 minimum wage in California, I don’t need to tip on top of that. |
I believe they appreciate cash tips |
This! I have ordered to friends’ houses many times |
As of 2022, the California minimum wage is $14.00 an hour for companies with 25 employees or less, and $15.00 and hour for companies with 26 or more employees. (It's not $15/hour for everyone.) And if you don't mind waiting while they take care of all the people who do tip? Fine. |
Part-Time Delivery driver here.
If your location is super remote, with only a handful of drivers repeatedly serving your address; you can requested to be blocked by the good drivers/shoppers, but it will be based on your account, not your address. She keeps doing that and she will find that the quality of her own service goes down. When you alternatively decide to order it will not affect you. The algorithm will pair you with the higher performing drivers/shoppers. |
Op here, thanks for the clarification PP. That said I still feel bad for the drivers, but it is what it is I think. I know she doesn’t tip because one time she asked for my help with the app and two or three other times I’ve seen the receipts on the bags on the table and can see the tip line says $0. I’m not prying or making it up. |
