Sterling Middle School Teacher / LCPS refuses to mask - kicked out

No, the EO for state employees rescinded the vaccine mandate.

Also, teachers are *not* state employees, they are employed by their local public schools. Just another example of people’s lack of understanding related to the EO and government powers/authorities.

The teachers at my school were talking about this as soon as we heard. None of us would be willing to work with her. The school administrator did the right thing by telling her to leave since she would not comply with the school district's policy. And if she wouldn't leave voluntarily, then we would have supported her being escorted out by police. As far as we are concerned, that teacher is a disgrace.

+1, what a fool

Exactly this. How did she not realize?

My goodness, she’s stupid. “I’m following the executive order”.

Maybe her parents were exerting their “parental choice” so their adult daughter wouldn’t have to mask.

Wait I thought the kids were masking to protect the adults?

Dyou think teachers will sue the district for trampling their freedoms by paranoid fears? There are unequivocal reports of all the health damages cause by blocking airways on a daily basis for 7+ hours.

We should all wear our N95s , walking around looking like paranoid ducks, all the time.

All the good people are duck faces.

Didn’t Youngkin sign a EO removing the requirement that state employees mask?

If so - why wouldn’t that apply to teachers?

Most teachers are not state employees. They are usually county employees. Except Virtual Virginia, but if you're teaching virtual I wouldn't think you need a mask.
I also can't wait until my students can hear and understand what I am saying and when I can understand their questions as well.

Exactly. we have to put food on our table. We just don’t lose our jobs (I only wear my chin diaper when walking around main office for show) over a stupid muzzle and paranoid freaks making stupid laws.

I hope you aren't posting to DCUM from school, "teacher."

Your use of the phrase "chin diaper" disqualifies you from having your opinion about this considered, anyway.

Who are you? There's a new tip line I'd like to inform about you.

Why is that? I have to wear one when I work (even pre pandemic) and we’ve been calling them chin bras for years.

Well there’s no excuse for being white trash.

You forgot to add "entitled"...

Probably the best thing that ever happened to her students was her walking off of the job and, fingers crossed, permanently leaving the teaching profession. She is trying to be clever with this “protest” but she is just embarrassing herself with her childish behavior and lack of professionalism. I think she’s been watching too much Fox “News”.

This and she sounds like she knows deep down how silly she sounds. Ridiculous!

Ugh. The classic “unequivocal reports.” Please cite your peer reviewed, scientific studies. No, we don’t accept reports from OANN

Same way masks don’t work is the fact that your plandemic is an inflated hoax:
