In your field, how often do employers usually ask for transcripts?

Never a transcript but hr does confirm that you earned your degree(s). I don't think they ask the university for transcripts.

All the time to verify that I actually have degrees. It's like the I-9 form.

hireright checked mine last time against my resume. New job didn’t but I’m assuming that’s because it doesn’t *trchnically* require one.

This is misleading. Every employer checks your credentials, confirms graduation, etc.

If you are in private practice, this is likely taken care of by your admin staff.

Love that biglaw and the federal government ask for law schools transcripts. Stuff I learned in law schools has been so unrelated to the legal position I have had that it should probably be criminal to actually rank students on it.

I work in childcare every single job I have asks for my transcripts
