Yep, this is why SJP had a surrogate for her twins too. She had secondary infertility in her late 30s and multiple miscarriages, after having her son at 37 y/o.

Great news. I am a mom of 2 and I have devoted my life to my wonderful kids. BUT, I hated the pregnancies. Priyanka Chopra is extremely intelligent and has used her wealth to outsource the pregnancy. Hopefully she has paid the surrogate very well for this.

There is no upside for an international star to become pregnant to have a baby of her own. I think Taylor Swift should do it too. I would love to see Taylor become a mom (by surrogacy). Finally, pregnancy ruins your looks. Look at Gigi Hadid. She became jowly after her baby at 25. Ugh!! And for what? For some loser like Zayn Mallik.

I believe supermodels Gisele Bundchen and Gal Gadot carried their own kids? They have plenty riding on their looks too, especially Gal.

There are a lot of upsides to pregnancy too, for instance the ability to breastfeed (not impossible but much harder with a surrogate). And it’s nice to feel your baby inside you. Of course if I had had issues carrying to term, I would definitely explore surrogacy too!

You know the statistic about women who have been pregnant are automatically less likely to get ovarian cancer than those who haven't, right?

I think the baby was born in San Diego…not sure why everyone assumes anything happened in India since they both live in the US. Isn’t it entirely possible that she had frozen her eggs years ago and they started trying and figured out quickly she couldn’t carry a baby herself? I had two miscarriages at 30 and figured out pretty quickly what my issues were. It still took several years. Luckily I had the time to try different options and was able to carry my own pregnancies, but if I was almost a decade older, I’m sure I would have moved faster to different options.

She also doesn’t strike me as someone that’s worried about gaining weight. There is a difference between Bollywood and Hollywood mentalities as far as weight goes. Either way, it’s all just speculation. Just shocks me sometimes how much people assume about this couple. When they first started dating folks assumed it was a publicity stunt. Not sure how a baby factors into that….
