At what age do even healthy and fit men start look old and less attractive?

Sometime after 75 for Paul Newman and Hal Lindon.

You've fought well sir. I understand your pain, my once 32-in vertical is now 27. I've opted for the peloton over the six mile runs of my 20s. My wife has taken over grocery shopping so my once maniacal diet has become " balanced", it just means more fat sugar to me. The only thing keeping my pack on is the ab roller. Which admittedly dulls everything's thanksgiving.

35 year old.

I’m 40 and I occasionally think 50-somethings are still attractive, but can’t think of any celeb or otherwise over 60 that I find hot. I think attractive women age better than attractive men due to the availability of tasteful cosmetic treatments.

LOL nice cope but nope.

This whole thread is silly anyway. Discussion of how good over-60 celebs look (male or female) is irrelevant to anyone on DCUM. You're not George Clooney, you're not Christie Brinkley.

For me it'd be the same answer for men and women. Which is that people change with age. 30, 40, 50... There are differences in everyone. And, like a PP said, my own age makes a difference. When I was in my 30s, people in their 30s were definitely most attractive. Even more attractive than teens or people in their 20s. Likewise for 40s. I guess in my 50s, I'd still say people in their 40s are attractive, as well as some in their 50s. Maybe that's a sign that 50s is the age at which we all become a little less "attractive"?

For most men, 55. For most women (and specifically cacausion ladies) 34.

Around 50 for most me and women.

46 year old male, I definitely think men peak in late 30s, I got tons of attention then from all ages, women from early 20s to late 50s. I still get some now but less and more from women 30s and up. I assume men become invisible by 60 or so

I’m 38. I can only think of a handful of men I know in their 40s that are in good shape and attractive (thankfully married to one). I can think of exactly zero over 50

Men probably 55. Women probably 45.

Even the most beautiful celebrities with all the money in the world - Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Charlize Theron, Kim Kardashian all look old now. Only jLo defies age. Not sure if it is makeup or what but she looks flawless.

I’m 43, almost 44. I recently felt my looks fading. I’m still the same weight as when I was 30 before I gave birth to my 3 kids but I just feel like I look old. Maybe it is the pandemic and staying home and not getting dolled up anymore. I felt pretty fabulous at age 40.

Robert recdford filmed the horse whisperer at 60…old but still pretty hot. A little over 70 for his cameo in A Winter Soldier…still good looking but not really jump his bones hot.

Paul Newman was 60 when he shot the Color of Money—good looking but not really drool worthy even by the point.

George Clooney is 60 and is starting to lose it.

Kevin Costner at 66, several years past his bull durham pant dropping hotness.

Richard gere did Chicago at 50 but has been pretty well downhill from there (but let’s all watch American gigolo to remember what once was)

Harrison Ford was the fugitive at 50, still pretty hot, but that was probably his last hot hurrah.

Denzel did the Manchurian candidate at 50–still pretty hot—but by 60, it’s the equalizer…which is only nostalgic hot.

Of course, that’s just my own judgement!

Don’t forget about Robert Dinero. Lost it.

He never had it. He was ugly when he was 25.

Agree. Daniel Day-Lewis was very good-looking into his 50s (see 2013 oscars v. today).

James Brolin and Jeff Goldblum are still hot to me. It’s the swagger.
