From a family with child abuse and a suicide, I will tell you there is NOT much help from mental health services, HIPAA has also got family trying to help locked out, and sometimes family is just as sick as the person who is doing the abusing or having the psychosis. I am a school counselor and I have never been this busy/sad/ in need of EAP in my life. I call CPS daily as students tell me what happened to them in virtual learning, what happens to them at home now, and what happens when the family is having major issues coping with COVID related mental issues. It is SCARY out there.

God bless you. I can’t imagine how hard your job is right now. Life is so difficult for so many right now.
