Scheduled an appointment for early January booster for 16 year old.
Cancelled that appointment when scored a jab at a walk-in site early this week. DD was very eager to get boosted. |
Yes... and he's fine
Done the very first weekend that they were eligible. My physician friends insist that they are far more confident in their abilities to handle pediatric myocarditis than pediatric COVID or MIS-C.
Of course. My DS16 and DS19 were both boosted after their last exams. My DD21 did not get her booster over Thanksgiving like I suggested she do and she got Covid (all her other friends who were exposed to the same person and boosted did not get it). Extremely mild case that she would not known she had if she had not been contact traced, but puts a damper on Christmas.
Abso-freakin-loutely. The day they announced it I tried to get an appointment (CVS, Walgreens and Giant), but none were set up to accept them. Within 24 hours they were, and got an appointment for 16 year old the following weekend. Family now 100% vaxed and boosted (18 year old college freshman was boosted when home for Thanksgiving).
Yes. DD16. Tired for a day and a sore arm but bounced back quickly.
Yup
Yes, to the moon!
Duh. Of course.
Yes - 16 year old.
Thankfully, yes
I thought it was only recommended for 18+?
No that changed |
Yes, DS turned 18 in early October and as soon as they opened it up to 18+ with no restrictions he got his.
Yup, DD 19 over Thanksgiving break when home from college. She asked to get it and at least 5 college friends picked up CV during exams, she somehow escaped it. DD 17 on the 23rd. Lots of her friends, boys and girls are getting the booster.
