The Wilson Beacon reported that 50 students tested positive last week, but that notifications were seriously lagging. They also reported that testing was cancelled for the 21st and also:

"That same day 27 teachers were absent, and on the previous day, 23 teachers were absent. Bargeman and Hall were absent on Tuesday, December 21. Both have been contacted via email for comment."

Great reporting because now the chancellor is adapting the notification system because it clearly is not working.

Exactly. Virtual class is fine. Nice to say goodbye to teachers and classmates before winter break.


Who do you need to say goodbye to for a 2 week break. It’s not summer. Y’all are weird.

well just got an email from Wilson about people with Covid. usually the email has one of two individuals. last week one email mentioned 6 individuals. well this one said 57 individuals have covid and they are porcessing additiona notices.

glad the winter break is here. hopelly the Omicron wave will pass in 2-3 weeks and we can go back to normal.
