| Not sure if all DCPS |
| Log in to what site and how? Are kids even prepared for this? |
| Presumably Canvas. All Wilson students have computers and most of my child’s classes do online work regularly. |
| Yes, students should log on to Canvas. If the lesson is synchronous the class Canvas instructions will have a link to Teams. |
If? Wouldn't every class be synchronous, just like a regular school day? |

My 9th graders said there were less than half of the kids in their classes yesterday and today. An admittedly small sample, but I can’t imagine they’ll miss much.
One of their Spanish teachers is already in Spain. Caveat: I’m getting this info from 14 year old boys. YMMV. |
| Some of DD’s teachers set up teams links at the beginning of the year, just in case. That said, my student has plenty of homework to do tomorrow, in case some teachers don’t do live sessions. We’re nearing the end of the semester. |
Dd is a sophomore and confirms this. We dropped her off this morning, and it was clear that many students were missing simply by the lack of a line to enter. |
| Only took an exposé in the student newspaper to make it happen. |
| I can’t imagine it’s just because of half empty classes. Many schools have the same attendance the past two days. |
Regarding... case numbers? |
Please don’t flatter yourself. The Beacon is great, but that is not why school is virtual tomorrow. |
There are four more weeks until the end of the semester...that's not that close. |
Yep. |
| Interesting that Deal is not also closed. |
