Christmas Dinner Challenge

I would serve ham plus a small veg lasagna as the mains.

I would grill a couple whole snappers, I would then do some really hearty sides. This way you can still cook with dairy.

Don't make everyone suffer a lack of protein because of thr one annoying vegetarian.

Um, I'm a strict Christian and every year attend a Hanukkah party. I also attended a Diwali party this year.

Because we live in a multicultural area?

Are you posting from Oklahoma or something?

I married into a blended Christian and Jewish family. There is a vast range of religious practices. We all get together for Christmas (and even exchange gifts!!!). My DHs cousin is ORTHODOX jew and they bring their own food. Everyone else just plays loose with it and pretends there isn't butter and milk in the mashed potatoes. There are a few Christians (myself) sprinkled in and even a Hindu.

You really need to get out more.
