Nicknames for Clara

These threads are weird! Clara and Eliza are beautiful names. They don't need any nicknames. If you insist, then Claire or Liza. The end!

My daughter is a Claire and her friends sometimes call her Clary. I guess that would work for Clara too, although I'm not sure why you'd you'd bother.

The only Clara I know is called CC or CJ which are her initials.

Why do you need a nickname? And why does it have to be something planned ahead of time rather than something that develops naturally once the baby is here?

DD is Claire. Not having a nickname was one of the reasons we picked the name, however, nicknames always have a way of coming out whether you mean/want to! We call her Claire Claire, ClaireBear, Clara, and Clairey Fairy. Any of those could work for Clara, again, whether you want a nickname or not, someone is going to call or one of those things

Cal
Depending on middle name, you could use initials.

C (pronounced "Cee") is cute. Clarebear for a little girl would be adorable.

It's a gorgeous name. I would've used it if it didn't rhyme with my name.
