-can of garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed, heated up with garlic, lemon, salt, olive oil and cumin
-oatmeal with raisins
-lentils and rice (sauté a diced onion in olive oil, add your lentils and rice and enough water, plus salt, simmer and covered until all water absorbed).
-spoonfuls of peanut butter

god ideas -- healthy and filling.

Most of this stuff is super carby and will not be filling for long, but anyway...

I would still like to be able to get myself off one last times before I die.

If I'm starving and there is no food in the house, I guess I'd start by eating the house plants, try to find some bugs to cook, and in the end move on to the pets?

I used to chew on my fingers, but now that they've gotten so stubby, I've switched to my toes.

Banana and peanut butter

Sweet potatoes baked with some salt

Guacamole with toasted naan with melted cheddar

Salad

Yogurt with champagne marmalade, pumpkin seeds and wheatgerm.

Chopped fruits with lemon and black salt

Costco frozen food

What an odd combination...
None of these sound very good

That actually sounds so delicious to me!

I figured. Leave the flavor combinations to the cooks. Respectfully.

This is a thread about feeding your own self when you are starving. PP can eat whatever she dam* well wants. Take your ridiculous judgment elsewhere.

I’ll keep my opinions right here. I’m allowed to say whatever I want.

Though my house always has loads of food, if I am starving and need food right away, I’ll either eat a tablespoon or so of crunchy peanut butter (directly off the spoon) or pop open a can of sardines in olive oil and eat a couple with a little salt.

Usually even when there's "no food," there's enough food to make a good egg scramble or omelette. For example: random veggies in the fridge like bell peppers, some kind of grated cheese, eggs. I also like grocery store sushi boxes.

If there's no food in the house, I'd just have hot tea. Or water with a little bit of apple cider vinegar. Both help with hunger.

Not sure if this is a trick question…

I’ll generally grab a spoon and the peanut butter. Or a chunk of cheese.
