Vote for your favorite fried chicken

Harold's (chain) in Chicago, by far
Max's and Jollibee
Popeye's (far superior to KFC) is reliable enough
Pollo Campero is also okay

Everything else, outside of occasional great chicken I find at a random one-off restaurant, I don't care for.

Sadly, it was not awesome on my stomach after I'd stopped eating fast food and then tried Roy Rogers.

Roy Rogers is so underrated.

Love that chicken from Popeyes. Grew up on Harold’s in Chicago. Good chicken.

But with any fried chicken, freshness particularly the oil is key.
