I was you, don’t be me. I stayed for 12 years and never got a raise in all those years. Once I left, a family offered me a job with a 30k pay increase, plus benefits. I feel so valued and appreciated my bosses actually care that I have health insurance so they provide it. I can’t believe I wasted so many year thinking I had such a good job just because the parents were nice. I was so underpaid and unappreciated. The last straw was $0 bonus during covid. It’s a nanny market right now. Go get what you deserve.
