pfizer booster & very sore arm PSA

Anonymous
I had my 3rd Pfizer this week. No sore arm. I had no reaction at all to the first 2, this one did make me very tired the evening of the shot. I got it at 5 pm and was fine by the time I woke up the next morning.

i am only surprised because i felt absolutely nothing with the first 2 pfizer shots this past spring.

apparently this is a good sign:

I think that's a little overdramatic. Have you had a tdap lately? That's about the worst sore arm around, in my experience. But, it's not like it's an actual injury. You can just power through the pain, the arm is still perfectly functional.

Wrong. I’ve had tetanus/tdap shots and yes, my arm was very sore for a few days. But after my Moderna booster the pain in my arm was excruciating and I could barely move it. Everybody reacts to vaccines differently.

+1 my moderna booster made my arm swell, hot to the touch, and incredibly painful. I have young kids and almost screamed when they brushed up against the arm. I’m on day 4 post booster and still in pain although it’s getting better. Heard it can last up to a week with moderna.

I tried these to address arm pain after a Moderna booster. They really seemed to help...

Then I got a fever and slept the whole afternoon, but at least the arm was no longer an issue.

Had sore shoulder, swollen arm pit lymph node, aches and tiredness. Felt like flu for first 2 days. 4th day almost 100%.

No shot has caused more soreness in my arm than the Shingles vaccine. My arm legit hurt for a week. Still beats getting Shingles.

Weigh your alternatives and plan accordingly.

Anyone have this after 2nd Pfizer booster? My mom had no reaction with previous shots but very sore arm after 2nd Pfizer booster. Just wondering why no soreness previously?
