Does anyone actually slug a glass of bourbon, scotch, brandy, or cognac after work?

I don't think a decanter is fancy per se, isn't it because every time you put the top on and off a bottle you get little cork particles in the booze? A decanter avoids that.

1 finger of bourbon sounds like maybe 1 shot or maybe 1.5 shots at most. Not getting anyone buzzed, especially if merely sipped.

That would get me buzzed and I drink pretty regularly. PP should absolutely not drink after one drink unless they wait an hour.
