| I chugged whiskey once when my 90 yo mom told me she wanted to have sex with her boyfriend. |
| My boss and I each sip a finger of bourbon in my office after work before we go home. Not everyday but most weekdays. |

My mother is English and I spent a lot of time there as a kid. Whenever anything bad happens, the first response is to always put the kettle on. |
Hope you’re not driving home. |
Sipping a finger of bourbon…not doing shots of Fireball |
| I drink 1-2 glasses of scotch or bourbon almost every day, from a $50 glass, and sometimes from a fancy decanter. It’s an enjoyable habit, a small bit of tradition and luxury and routine. |
| My dad would prepare a highball for he and my mom pretty much the minute they got home from work every day. Then they would start dinner. |
| My DH has a glass of scotch most nights, in a fancy glass. No decanter, though. |
| My dad had one old fashioned almost every night after work. My DH has a Jameson once or twice a week. |
| I used to. So dumb, I quit, thank goodness. |
Well, did she? 😄 |
I love this. Whenever there's a crisis (or the soaps are over) there's a power surge from all the cuppas https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/whats-on/film-and-tv/put-the-kettle-on-800-megawatt-power-904547 |
I can actually confirm cops genuinely do drink a ton of coffee, because the job is generally so boring. Especially if it's late night shift and/or they're working a lot of overtime. Cops make six-figures quite easily milking overtime. |
1 finger of bourbon sounds like maybe 1 shot or maybe 1.5 shots at most. Not getting anyone buzzed, especially if merely sipped. |
