That issue will resolve at the same time your battery range shrinks significantly, sort of a wash imo.

For what you need y is better than 3, but 3 is more fun to drive and for the same battery more range because of aerodynamics. Cargo space on Y vastly better, I can fit a full size bike without disassembly.

Tesla service is much better than anything I’ve had so far. For example I had a flat tire, they came to my house with a replacement wheel, put it on the car and I was good to go until they had the tire fixed.

Costeise it is comparable with a gas car that is about $10k cheaper because of savings in fuel and maintenance. Definitely recommend.

And if that flat was 200 Mike’s from anywhere?

Tesla will send a to truck, a $100 uber voucher and a replacement car if needed, all free of any charge. Somehow, I doubt you have that level of service with your current car.

also, they are not limited to delivering a wheel only to home addresses, so your question is a little strange, yes, they'll go to any place your car broke, their road side assistance really is the best.

What do you do when you have a flat tire 200 miles from anywhere?

I change the tire. I have a spare.

This has not been the experience of any of our family members with 5 Teslas over the past 7 years.

I find it most interesting that almost all negative comments are from non-owners, while people that actually drive Teslas have overwhelmingly positive reviews of the car. I think that speaks volumes.

Question for the non-owners. In a discussion titled "Tesla owners- please advise ", why do you feel the need to give your two cents on something you have no clue about? Its puzzling becuase you'd never see non-Honda owners harp about how crappy Hondas are, maybe at most you'd see people commenting on the looks, but for Teslas this is done on another level of intensity. Legit question, why?

Apples and oranges comparing Tesla to Honda. I don’t see a personality cult around a shilling dbag with Honda, they don’t use cars as a mechanism to get funding etc for projects more important to the megalomaniacal leader (Musk the Pedo).

Huge difference.

I’m on my second X and love it. Have only had minor maintenance things (kids shoved something where the seatbelt goes), drove over a nail, etc. The visit to wherever it’s parked is amazing. They track it, service it & leave. Not sure why these non-Tesla owners feel the need to chime in? In our immediate family we have had 7 Tesla’s and no issues. I use it as my everyday car so work, lots of kids carpools, sports, etc. Not sure if captains seats are an option in the Y, but I love them bc it makes the third row really easy to see with short kids

Oh I get it now, you guys have unresolved issues with Elon Musk, his personality cult, fundraising, and megalomaniac projects. You need help, get some therapy.

You realize a lot of the new cars don’t come with a spare tire? Then what, take it to a service center? Tesla does all this for you. For free!

Considering replacing our Bolt with used model S, one of the early ones, because they are "cheap" -ish, meaning about 30K and we really just need a reliable car for occasional road trips and the daily commute. And want to stay with electric. Our other car is a Leaf--we need something with a different charging port and more range. Want to stay under 45K.

Also considering the Kia and Hyundai and the ID4 and was positively excited for the Nissan Ariya--but with the supply stuff, not sure any of those are easy to get. The Bolt is a a great car, and it's only the recall that has me considering replacing it. Among other things, it's nice driving a car that doesn't look valuable. I trend toward the city line of thought about cars: have your car look like something no one would want to steal or smash a window to get in.

this is my main hesitation re: the S, or really re any tesla

Really? Never been in the Smokies, at the shore, etc., out West, with no Tesla dealer with in miles? You don’t get out much.

I was thinking this same thing. 4 hours west of DC and you can be in the middle of nowhere. I've been ple ty of places with no gas stations, stores or people.

Are you sure you are not full of it? How about this for a challenge. Give us the location where you were 200 miles away from any Supercharger.

My issue with people like you is that you make these claims and pretend it’s absolute truth, but in reality it is easily debunked with a 5 second google search.

What a clown…
