Dated, but this is JAB Holdings:

It's "TAH-tay," according to someone I know who works at one.

ugh I hate it. Like latte with a t, but why?

Love their salads and many of their baked goods. Soups too salty for my taste.

Tatte is not my favourite at all. I avoid. I notice a lot of strivers ask me to meet for coffee and cake there, and I politely decline.

I haven't had anything there I've thought is that great and alrready see a decline in quality. I also don't love them pulling a Foxtrot and expanding everywhere in DC. I am beginning to see signs of this with Maman as well which is similarly OK but nothing we need every few blocks.

I am obsessed with the seasonal cilbir Turkish egg plates, weekend-only French toast, fattoush salad, walnut cookies and tomato soup. The only thing I haven’t loved is the quiche. Too creamy somehow… My infatuation with Tatte reminds me of how I felt about lpq a decade ago. But Tatte is a better value than Lpq ever was.

Finally went in person and the actual restaurant was super loud and crowded. Sticking to delivery

Which location did you go to?

Yeah, I've been to several locations and they're always too loud for me. All that tile, with the high ceilings. But I do like their food and will often get a sandwich for now and a pastry for later to take away if I find myself near one.

Way overpriced. Not a fan.

The food and drink are fine, but definitely not worth the hangar-like buildings and the noise level. At all! I prefer a cozier atmosphere.

Tatte has pretty interiors? You have low standards.

+1 I only go to the one near us if the weather is nice and I can sit outside.

And you suggest Dunkin' Donuts?

Yucky chain bakery

I hate, not their food and drink, but the cavernous spaces that are very loud and the habitually poor service at several locations.

I prefer to go to Maman, or Tout de Sweet, or other patisseries that are less noisy and have more attentive staff.
