Anyone watch SNL last night?

I must say, staying up until 1130pm is hard for me. I'm the Mom of two young boys. But I did, because I wanted to see Sarah Palin. What a let down. Anyone can say "Live From New York". I was really hoping she'd do more.

For those who did watch, what were your thoughts...

total let down ... i stayed up til 12:15 thinking she'd have another role but finally gave up and went to bed. there was so much hype for it- pretty lame in my opinion.

I think her last bit, on Weekend Update, may have been after 12:15. Actually, she sat and watched Amy Pohler do what supposedly was to have been "her bit", a rap song. I doubt they ever planned on Palin doing it, but she sat and bounced pretty convincingly during it.

I don't think it would have done much to change your opinion. I thought she looked relaxed throughout both her stints, though, and delivered her (few) lines well.

I cannot believe that she didn't do more. Is she really that incapable of saying anything? Crazy what a short leash she's on.

Maybe should get a VCR. They're really cheap these days.

Just watched it on TIVO. The rap is hilarious!!!! Palin should have done it. People would have admired her for being willing to take the risk. I'm sure it will be on youtube soon.

On another note, I knew Palin was beautiful but seeing her on tv next to the usual "beautiful people" of TVland, I see that she really is stunning.

I swear ...If Palin were in a line feeding the homeless and handing out $100 bills, you'd all find something to pick apart.

I watched it, what did you all expect? Something hilarious and extraordianary?

I'm not a Palin fan, but am shocked the woman actually has a little rhythm.

Why all the whining about staying up so late and Palin not being in every sketch? Nobody forced these whiners to stay up late. It's not like she was the host of the show, people.

OP here-God, this board kills me sometimes. My point was, there was so much hype about her being on the show, I just thought she'd do more. Rather than the very little she did.

To the MEOW poster, thanks for sticking up for me. I don't think the other poster actually read that I DID watch the show and really have no need for a VCR.
