She can continue to go on with her wealthy lifestyle with her husband and kids on Park Ave. She should just apologize and say she understands allowing this to perpetuate was wrong, and she’s going to go focus on her family now. Geez.

+1000. You would think her damage control people would advise this, but they seem to defend her. Shes clearly mentally ill.

So if she's mentally ill, why pile on her? Why try to get her to confess all of her "sins" in a publicly embarrassing way?

DP but I don't think she's mentally ill. I think she's cunning.

Remember what happened to Brian Williams? For varnishing the truth.

Wow. Looks like at home Hilaria talks to him in English with a foreign accent all the time. I thought she only did it for the public. She is truly mentally ill.

It seems to corroborate the rumor that she started this fake identity to snag Alec.

Is CAA going to drop her? I wonder if they’re getting pressure from celebs they represent (bigger and more relevant than Alec) to drop this fraud. I feel like CAA doesn’t mess around or maybe that’s just my impression of them.

You can tell she is not from Spain but, by just listening to her, (without knowing this crazy shit), you'd think she is an American woman who's spent a long time in Spain. And, yeah, no, we are not Hispanic. It is actually funny how people are talking about things like race and latino culture when they refer to Spanish people. You guys know we are European, right?

I didn't say anything, just played a clip of Hillary speaking Spanish in an interview and asked if this is a Spanish or Balearic dialect. She said absolutely not. She said she couldn't tell where she was from but said Mexico if she had to guess.

A woman from Madrid is not Hispanic. Other than that, good post.

Er yes, you are. Hispanic doesn't just cover Latin America. It covers any Spanish speaking nation. Including, Spain.

I just don't get this Hispanic race, the defining feature is the language you speak then? Because spaniards are white european caucasians and their ethnicity is way more similar to french or italians than to native south americans.

Since people seem to think her behavior is victimless.

I am a nanny. I am also an immigrant. We are the invisible people behind the Instagram posts of baking cookies, homemade baby food, sleeping babies, and organized pantries. We are the invisible people who allow people like this to live their best life. We are the ones with accents, different cultures, hardship, and have to worry about where we get our next paycheck. To take the experience of an actual immigrant and to wear it like cloak when it’s convenient is disgusting. It’s not okay. You say this doesn’t hurt anyone, but I’m here to tell you it does. My nanny friends and I don’t get to wear a new identity to change our status in life. Slap on a new name to be exotic... or get a job. To say no one is hurt, diminishes our experience. Working as a nanny is hard work and when women like that erase us and then claim our identities (accents, language, culture) as their own? No. Not okay. I don’t get to change who I am when it’s convenient.

Exactly. and she has a nanny for every child, right? This seems so indulgent and THAT's the thing that bothers me. The indulgence of ALL of this.

Indulgent like me and you having the free time and mental bandwidth to post on a gossip message board about celebrity fluff? Yes, we live indulgent lives, Hilaria/Hilaria, and us DCUMers.

It’s really neither an ethnicity or a race.

Hispanic is an ethnicity not a race. Keep up.

Doesn’t ethnicity also have a genetic component? How can a black Brazilian and a native Mexican and a white Spaniard be the same ethnicity?

Whaaaaattttt omg

Someone please come in with some analysis because my head is spinning.

I would think she probably requested it, or that this is just to ride out the current PR storm from so many page visits.

After all, according to Rose McGowan, CAA aren't exactly moral standard setters.

Why do you care? Would that improve your sad, lonely and pathetic life in any capacity?

LA times literally made 10 posts about it on Twitter and they’re also posting Rachael dolezal or whatever she’s called.
