Hilaria Baldwin - At it again

Anonymous
OMG the website someone linked to for the brother's meal plan service. This whole family is questionable. Nowhere does the expert doctor who recommends the program say she is the mother of the one who created it. She MUST disclose this in the website and when she refers patients. Seriously, not OK. The study thing is concerning too. No self-respecting doctor, let alone one from HARVARD should be doing this.

She can continue to go on with her wealthy lifestyle with her husband and kids on Park Ave. She should just apologize and say she understands allowing this to perpetuate was wrong, and she’s going to go focus on her family now. Geez.

The professors who did it were far more in the wrong, IMO. Dolezal as well. Even though it seems there were likely mental issues at play in all those cases, they also profited and made careers as activists.

Hilaria... got Alec Baldwin out of it. And a few spots on "Best-Dressed Latina" lists. Not comparable.

+1000. You would think her damage control people would advise this, but they seem to defend her. Shes clearly mentally ill.

So if she's mentally ill, why pile on her? Why try to get her to confess all of her "sins" in a publicly embarrassing way?

Mommy is lucky she is no longer practicing medicine. This isn't major, but it certainly is something the license board would frown upon.

Yeah, no thanks. I'd rather keep my integrity and self-worth than have to put up with that self-important rageaholic.

Because they (Hillary and Alec) have been hiding her background from the beginning. She had an interview around that time with a NYT reporter and he wrote about 'her faint Spanish accent, the remainder of a childhood spent between Spain and the US', or something to that effect.

Alec and Hillary don't put this is the NYT, it's CAA and publicists.

So you are suggesting, as Hillary did on her IG video, that reporters are making assumptions and errors and the info does not originate from her and Alec? Parents' names are standard on wedding announcements...

Since people seem to think her behavior is victimless.

I am a nanny. I am also an immigrant. We are the invisible people behind the Instagram posts of baking cookies, homemade baby food, sleeping babies, and organized pantries. We are the invisible people who allow people like this to live their best life. We are the ones with accents, different cultures, hardship, and have to worry about where we get our next paycheck. To take the experience of an actual immigrant and to wear it like cloak when it’s convenient is disgusting. It’s not okay. You say this doesn’t hurt anyone, but I’m here to tell you it does. My nanny friends and I don’t get to wear a new identity to change our status in life. Slap on a new name to be exotic... or get a job. To say no one is hurt, diminishes our experience. Working as a nanny is hard work and when women like that erase us and then claim our identities (accents, language, culture) as their own? No. Not okay. I don’t get to change who I am when it’s convenient.

Thank you for sharing this. I’m a white woman and couldn’t quite articulate why her behavior is so disturbing and not just a silly little “game” (although my gut reaction to her behavior is definitely that it feels yucky). Your words really personify exactly what is wrong with what she has done. She is taking on an identity for the fun “exotic” aspect of it, essentially fetishizing immigrants, without having to personally experience any of the hardships they have endured.

Also, trust me, anyone with a brain who sees her Instagram posts knows there is a small army of nannies worth their weight in gold doing the actual hard work of child rearing.

Well said.

Alec on Letterman circa 2013. Start at about 9:04, at 9:12 Alec says "My wife is from Spain." You even get the hear impersonate her accent. Consider the source, people.

Exactly. and she has a nanny for every child, right? This seems so indulgent and THAT's the thing that bothers me. The indulgence of ALL of this.

Alec seems really unhinged. Given his extensive history of punching people and getting away with it (good lawyers), I'd worry for my safety. So he's no prize. But I do tend to agree that the professors and Dolezal are worse because in many cases they received scholarships or preferential hiring, and blocked the paths of actual POC competing for the same positions or funding. The marketplace for social media influencers is a bit different in that there are not finite positions or funding, and that people understand that the influencers may be misrepresenting their lives. Hillary is wrong, but with the right crisis PR this scandal will actually benefit ala Paris Hilton or KK sex tape.

But I do have to say that this issue has made me think Hollywood PR is seriously behind DC PR. I hope that the Baldwins and other Hollywood people who like to live life on the edge (of truth and other things) get the right people on retainer bc this has been a total ish show. And that's been entertaining but alarming.

Wow. Looks like at home Hilaria talks to him in English with a foreign accent all the time. I thought she only did it for the public. She is truly mentally ill.
