| I have a jar of Banner Bee's Blackberry Honey. The honey is delicious and there is a distinct blackberry taste. Any ideas about how I might use this honey? My immediate thought is to mix a little in plain Greek yogurt. Thanks. |

Sounds delicious. Where did you get it?
For honeys which can stand on their own, I don't really "do" anything with them. I might bake some scones for weekend brunch and serve them with honey & clotted cream/ mascarpone. Or I might put some on a cheese board with a good blue. Another favorite cheese-honey pairing of mine is bruschette topped with fresh ricotta, a drizzle of honey, and freshly cracked black pepper. |

OMG- need it. Never heard of it. Please share your source!
And PP's ideas all sound delish. I wonder if buttery brie or Saint Andre would be good with the bb honey instead of blue cheese (which is an entire food group to me- yum). |

I got the honey from the farmers' market at the train station in Kensington (Saturday mornings til 12:00). I'm not sure if the guy still sells there; I've been out-of-town for a while.
Here's the website. I don't see the blackberry honey listed. Maybe they'll have after the blackberries come into season? http://www.bannerbees.com/store/WsDefault.asp?Cat=RawMDHoney It's really has a delicious taste. Thanks so much for the cheese pairing and scone suggestions. |
| Oh there is blackberry honey at the site. My bad. It's listed under Variety Honey not Infused/Flavored Honey. |
| That sounds like the sort of honey that's perfect for spreading on things like scones, muffins, or like you said, drizzled over greek yogurt. |
