Online coach, training

Has anyone ever paid for an online marathon training program coach?
They give you weekly emails of the milages you are supposed to do, and a training program.
do not know if this is something I would be able to keep up with, any ideas?

I have a friend who is a runing coach and does this. when she was first starting out she coached me for free to run a 10 mil race. it was good for accountability and she helped me change up he plan when I missed a week of running for illness or a minor injury.

I have also trained for a marathon completely on my owns so a coach is not absolutey necessary. There are plenty of marathon training programs online.

what do you mean by "do not know if this is something I would be able to keep up with" do you mean the voume or running? A program should be tailored to where you are starting from. It is also not a great idea to start to train for a marathon unless you already have a strong runing background and have been running consistently for at least a year. there are lots of charity groups that will take you from zero to marathon, but you are just asking for an injury.

Hi-- I'm actually a certified running coach who, along with a co-coach, regularly coaches runners "virtually" for marathons. We are local and also coach group programs in the area. We're also moms of young kids so we understand the demands of fitting in marathon training along with kids, family, work, etc.!
Here's our website- http://www.runfartherandfaster.com/
And information on virtual coaching- http://www.runfartherandfaster.com/programs/private-virtual-coaching

Please feel free to contact us at info@runfartherandfaster.com. We'd love to help you towards your goal!

So I pay $100 dollars a month to have someone give me a phone call and occational emails, and to draw a training plan for me that I can do myself with the internet.

Are there any satisfied customers?
