laser hair removal -- bikini-how much to remove?

Hi,
I want to have laser hair removal on my bikini line?
I have thought about Brazilian but I worry that I will regret it when I am really old or what if I change my mind?

So I am wondering do I get an extended bikini line removal, where they leave some hair?

Has anyone done bikini line and how much did you remove?

Don't do it. It's a major scam. I had 5 treatments, and much of the hair was gone for a few months, but it is all coming back now.

I've heard it is really ineffective from lots of ppl. If you hear success stories they are almost always from ppl who have recently had the treatments. Most ppl 2,3,5 yrs out say they are back to square one. I really thoroughly researched it and asked basically every person I know who looked hairy. My dermotologist even admitted that the technology isn't perfected.

I had my underarms done over 10 years ago and the hair stayed off.

Even if I have to back back once a year for touch ups, it would still be worth it for me.

I've done 6 treatments and it's coming back. And I am not a really hairy person to start with!

I did it and it only lasted for 2 years... all the hair is back now (possibly slightly less)... I didn't have a major problem to start with either. I wouldn't do it again... I am back to the waxers.

I did it 7 years ago and virtually none of it came back -- but I am very fair and had very dark hair, which is the best combo for laser hair removal.

This is me. I also am very fair with dark hair. As I said, it did almost all fall out as they said it would, but came back after a few months.

Did it about 3 years ago and it has been wonderful. I did my legs, bikini line and arm pits. It took 6 sessions with real laser (not IPL) and I do go back every year for a touch up (with minimal hair growth) Any reputable provider will tell you that it is not 100% definitive and that hormonal changes can change results dramatically.
Back to your question, I did a like maybe an inch less than where my bikini/panty fabric reaches on sides and top.

I had mine done years ago and it's still gone. PP, I wonder if you went to a place that didn't do a great job or their equipment wasn't functioning properly?

I did mine at Alase. Didn't post before, but I had mine done 7 years ago. No regrowth.

Same here. Since 7 years ago they have "new and improved" lasers so maybe that is what the problem is -- it seems that the more recent people have had it the less satisfied they are?
