I did Brazilian.

If I were to get it done, I wouldn't remove all of it. If you want to get a Brazilian every once in a while, you can always get waxed.

I posted at 19:25. I'll be blunt. I was very hirsute. I did the Brazilian because that was required to remove the hair from my rear. As for the front, they let me decide the dimensions of the "landing strip." I just wanted to be able to throw on a swimsuit without shaving.

Also, when I had mine done, they told me that it would probably last well because I was done having kids. Fewer crazy hormones = decreased regrowth.

I am very happy I did it. It's been 7-8 years now.

I got full body done - including Brazilian. I had mild hirsutism also. It was life changing for me. Am I totally hairless - no? But it reduced it to like 85%. I shave the rest once a month in the shower.

Wow. How much did that cost?

Are some lasers more painful than others? I'm currently doing bikini line and would LOVE to do the brazillian but the laser they're using is definitely a pretty significant zap. Not sure if I could handle that in the most delicate areas..

I would do Brazilian on the back only and leave some on the front- you can always edge it in or take it off if you want, yourself. I just wouldn't want to be bald there.

I am the PP who did full body. $500/session. Not bad at all. I did 7 sessions. This is at Lumiere Skin and Laser in McLean.

I may have to revisit this thread in oh, 3-4 years when we're done having kids. I don't mind shaving, but the backs of my legs and my bikini line... sigh. I think I'm hairier than my husband.

I did 3 or 4 treatments at Alase years ago and have had very little regrowth. Just shave the few stragglers every month. I even had twins afterwards (it did increase the amount of regrowth). I think the success depends on the lasers, and unfortunately, the more painful, the better. Alaze allowed me to determine the amoutn taken off in front, and I got something in between the Brazillian and a regular. I have number 6 skin (ever so slightly olive skinned white girl with dark hair).
