How did you do for 5th grade?
|
| No they aren't! Lottery us on March 22nd at 6pm |
| Latin just got a kid into Cornell - second kid going to an ivy this year! Not that ivies are the be-all-and-end-all, of course, but many people see it as one marker of a good education. |
| cornell undergrad=not that great, seriously. |
| Martha Cutts has done a terrific job as Latin's head. She's developed and grown Latin nicely after creating order out of the chaos that "the Music Man", former headmaster TR Ahlstrom, left in his wake. |
You suck. I believe the proper response is "congratulations".
|
| I have two recent grads on my staff from Cornell who are fantastic. |
|
The Cornell debate aside, Latin has posted the most recent college acceptances on their website (and Cornell is not listed, but Brown is).

The Cornell news is just a few days old. I'm going to guess it's a likely letter - DC actually showed me the kid's FB page, so this is real, but I don't know much more about it.. |
| First Brown and Cornell then Princeton and Yale in two or so years. Nice job everyone at Latin. Parents most importantly! |
| PP with link here - Congrats to all! That's wonderful news. |
| Great news. Are these minority kids? If so, even more impressive. |
Why? My minority kid will be the fifth generation of my family to attend college. |
| Sir- What school did you go to? Cornell is a good school. It's crazy that we don't know how to give credit when it's due! **Jerk******** |
+1. Think they meant low income kid, which some people on this forum use interchangeably. |
