It's NOT in the affidavit and the charges are reiterated by PBS and CNN. That doesn't mean those WERE the charges. The actual charges would be in the court documents. Someone posted the affidavit from the FBI agent and the only mention of a gun was what the son said the guy told him.

The FBI specifically told Congress there were no guns on 1/6 confiscated.

Regarding the bolded, I do think if they found guns on the perps they would actually disarm them

involving Reffitt and two other Three Percenters. In it, Reffitt allegedly said he helped lead the charge on the Capitol with a .40-caliber pistol at his side, at one point telling a U.S. Capitol Police officer who was firing nonlethal rounds at him, “Sorry, darling. You better get a bigger damn gun.”
