Trump 47 Economy

Math it out. Family of 4 is $60/day which is $420 per week or almost $22,000 per year. That is more than most American households make. That is before healthcare, rent, transportation etc.

What was she trying to say again?

Some perspective: The S&P opened down -1.3% on Trump's Greenland saber-rattling. That's $750 billion of wealth destroyed -- roughly equal to estimates of the value of Greenland.

And so ~in dollar terms~ his shenanigans have already cost the US one Greenland, and we've got nothing to show for it.

Bessent on institutional investors: "I's a good idea to have them out of the [housing] market. We're going to give guidance to see what is a mom & pop. Maybe your parents for their retirement bought 10 or 12 homes. We don't want to push the mom & pops out, we just want to push everyone else out"

I mean, who among us hasn't bought 10 or 12 homes for our retirement? We're just moms and pops trying to create the multi-million dollar nest egg we'll need to pay for the nursing home.

"We had run almost 1,000 simulations, and between $3 and $4 is a fair number if you can have access to that food. I just saw new numbers that were run: a full day, meaning 3 full square meals and a snack, is about $15.64."

Piece of chicken, piece of broccoli, a corn tortilla and one other thing. Trump’s modern, “let them eat cake!”

Only a piece of broccoli, not a full bunch. And you must choose between the stalk or the crown for your piece of broc for the day.

I get hung up on the corn tortillas. Like I guess bread is too pricey?! I grew up in the Southwest and make Mexican food all the time but wouldn’t serve a corn tortillas with a piece of chicken and a piece of broccoli. WTF?!

Ray Dalio: "Global monetary order is breaking"

Dalio thinks the US and the allies are losing trust in one another, so central banks don't want to hold the US bonds.

This is why commodities are skyrocketing, and it won't reverse anytime soon.

His advice? Buy gold.

Let's be clear...Trump is breaking it.

It also means fewer doctors, nurses, health care workers, senior community aids etc.

Sorry Gen X, you are going to have to wipe your own parents butts, because there won't be aids to do it in the nursing homes.

Somehow I feel like a lot of MAGA butts are just going to go un-wiped.

It’s telling that you can’t even afford a sweet potato to go with that chicken or broccoli.
