Three of SYC's starters weren't there but good try. Ending up with a draw after being up 2-0 with 10 minutes left isn't exactly a fantastic result.
Oh, what a brilliant display of strategy! Three coaches on the sidelines, yet somehow the collective wisdom failed to identify that one particular player didn’t belong in such a critical spot on the field. But hey, keep playing your favorites—because who needs results anyway?
Sad because you'll always be Loudoun/NVA's inferior who attracts their scraps or girls who would never had made their first team to begin with anyway.
LS/NVA spent so much time screwing everyone else that they turned to screwing over their own girls teams. Delusional to think they are superior to anyone. Completely oblivious to the fact that they’re just a
sinking ship and all signs are there.
All indication that Revolution is in the upward trajectory.
That’s why they come on to other clubs’ threads. Trying to make themselves feel better by talking crap about other clubs.
What signs are those?
The signs are everywhere. Soy fem boy RP can fill you in. The LS sidelines are awful and their parents spend their days posting hateful things here. Typically misinformation and flat out lies too. The whole place is toxic. No camaraderie. No sense of club family culture. Nothing. LS/NVA has jump the shark and this is well known. All the best coaches are either at VRSC or submitting resumes. The amount of jealousy their posts demonstrate are pathetic.
LS will continue to be the youth soccer factory in Loudoun County for the foreseeable future. VRSC doesn’t have the interest or capacity to step into that role. The question is whether, and if so when, VRSC can supplant LS (and NVA, which inevitably will get merged back into LS) as having the top girls and/or boys teams for U13 and above. I have no doubt this will happen on the girls side within the next five years, probably much sooner. If VRSC is already competing with SYC in GA, then it’s just a matter of time for the best girls at NVA/LS to move to VRSC where there are better coaches, better facilities, and a club culture that prioritizes the girls program. If VRSC can compete (not win, just be competitive) with NVA in GA next season, players will start jumping ship immediately. VRSC just needs to pick off 1-2 players from an NVA GA team to completely shift the balance of power,. Once that happens, it’s game over. It will be harder on the boys side, as there’s not an obvious accelerant there like the FCV coaches and players were on the girls side. My prediction is 7-10 years on the boys side.
