Three of SYC's starters weren't there but good try. Ending up with a draw after being up 2-0 with 10 minutes left isn't exactly a fantastic result.

No team ever has the whole roster healthy and available to play. The great SYC tied? How could that happen? I thought they were invincible?

Running to an anonymous parent forum to let everyone know that a few players didn’t play in an under 13 game is so cope.

Keep “developing” EM.

Very similar to "running to an anonymous parent forum" to crow about leading 2-0 with ten minutes left and leaving with a draw.

That is pretty cope too. You aren't Loudoun/NVA and never will be. Be happy with mediocrity. At least you have third rate Euro coaches and a bar to brag about.

It’s not just a ‘bar’ it a rooftop lounge!

VRSC parents need to just stop posting here trying to defend your kids and the club because no matter what you post these a$$hole parents from the other clubs will always run the kids, club and coaches down. Threatened much?! Also, they were most likely at Rev and left bitter over something.

Oh, what a brilliant display of strategy! Three coaches on the sidelines, yet somehow the collective wisdom failed to identify that one particular player didn’t belong in such a critical spot on the field. But hey, keep playing your favorites—because who needs results anyway?

This post says all you need to know about VRSC.

I agree. We are focused on incremental progress. 2012 SYC would have destroyed 2012 VRSC last season. Today showed progress. This is a multiyear endeavor.

Oh, absolutely brilliant—just barely scraping by, huh? The score bailed you out, didn’t it? A masterful strategy of kicking and running, truly revolutionary. So, tell me, how does it feel to flirt so tantalizingly close with success yet still miss the mark?

Sad because you'll always be Loudoun/NVA's inferior who attracts their scraps or girls who would never had made their first team to begin with anyway.

Actually, the FCV legacy players and their parents are just the gift that keeps on giving, aren’t they? Truly a fine display of teamwork—and by teamwork, I mean making things more complicated than a rooster in a henhouse.

LS/NVA spent so much time screwing everyone else that they turned to screwing over their own girls teams. Delusional to think they are superior to anyone. Completely oblivious to the fact that they’re just a sinking ship and all signs are there.

All indication that Revolution is in the upward trajectory.

That’s why they come on to other clubs’ threads. Trying to make themselves feel better by talking crap about other clubs.

2011s 0-0 vs SYC. I don’t think that SYC team is as strong as their top players went to Union at U13, but they’ve only lost 2 games this season. Again, good progress for VRSC GA. Solid mid-table teams, and at least competing with the teams at the top of the table. Much better than TSJ in their first season.

What signs are those?

The signs are everywhere. Soy fem boy RP can fill you in. The LS sidelines are awful and their parents spend their days posting hateful things here. Typically misinformation and flat out lies too. The whole place is toxic. No camaraderie. No sense of club family culture. Nothing. LS/NVA has jump the shark and this is well known. All the best coaches are either at VRSC or submitting resumes. The amount of jealousy their posts demonstrate are pathetic.

LS will continue to be the youth soccer factory in Loudoun County for the foreseeable future. VRSC doesn’t have the interest or capacity to step into that role. The question is whether, and if so when, VRSC can supplant LS (and NVA, which inevitably will get merged back into LS) as having the top girls and/or boys teams for U13 and above. I have no doubt this will happen on the girls side within the next five years, probably much sooner. If VRSC is already competing with SYC in GA, then it’s just a matter of time for the best girls at NVA/LS to move to VRSC where there are better coaches, better facilities, and a club culture that prioritizes the girls program. If VRSC can compete (not win, just be competitive) with NVA in GA next season, players will start jumping ship immediately. VRSC just needs to pick off 1-2 players from an NVA GA team to completely shift the balance of power,. Once that happens, it’s game over. It will be harder on the boys side, as there’s not an obvious accelerant there like the FCV coaches and players were on the girls side. My prediction is 7-10 years on the boys side.

Seems the Loudoun County parents are the issue, not the kids or clubs. Jeez, gotta be so toxic to one another, your egos so delicate you gotta have the loudest and last word.

7-10 years? That’s funny. Most of the clubs we’re talking about didn’t even exist 7 years ago. Neither did some of the leagues. If you think soccer in the DMV, which has been going through rapid change every year for at least a decade, is all of a sudden going to be stable for the next 7-10 you truly are nuts. Change is the only thing we can be sure of.

Didn't I just read like 2 pages of you all arguing with your FCV ""family" about who's kids are better, starting and how FCV saved Rev. Then apparently the family aspect is so alluring you got parents banging coaches. Keep it all in the family I guess, but I presume there's levels to the Bs which allows you to keep wearing those rose colored glasses 😆
