Why Won't Obama Release Any Documents?

Anonymous
I have no idea about the residency issue, what bothers me is that Obama won't release medical records, college transcripts, etc. Any other candidate would be hounded on that by the media. But not Obama. I wonder about the medical records, especially.

Congratulations! You have just won a McCain point.

Its very funny how your post is word for word exactly like this web page:

http://www.president2008blog.com/2008/10/12/why-wont-obama-release-any-documents/

BTW, if you did more than simply copy and paste from anti-Obama blogs, you would know that Obama has released medical records. None of the candidates have released college transcripts. "Residency" has never been in question, but if you are referring his birth certificate, a copy of that is on Obama's website.

Also, are you bothered by the economy, or is the most important issue to America today really whether Obama might have got a "C" in some class at Columbia?

Right, because the medical records would show that he is really a robot controlled by Ahmadinejad!

You didn't know? Black men have to have transcripts, white men don't need all that.

It is actually McCain who hasn't fully released medical records--and at his age and with him being a cancer survivor, I do wonder why he hasn't completely released medical records unless there is something to hide.

Obama probably would not release college transcripts because he had straight As. If he had Cs, they would pick up a few more votes.

Who cares if I copied and pasted it? really, why does that matter?

Actually, McCain has released hundreds of pages of medical records while Obama has released none, or only a handful of pages. It's not a McCain point, as one poster suggests, it's just further evidence of the bias of the extreme left media about vetting a candidate. If the situation was reversed, there would be cries from the left of a cover-up by McCain.

Frankly, I could care less about either man's med records, but I do care when the media, which is supposed to be fair and balanced, applies different journalistic standards in covering the two candidates. This election has just sickened me, in terms of the media.

McCain is 72 and had cancer! His "releasing" consisted of a tightly controlled 3 hour exhibition. So please, spare us!

I completely agree. It's like Obama supporters refuse to see the entire picture and if you bring it up, they just say, "Oh, the republicans are trying to make him look bad" Come on, Obama is not this perfect person who's representing the average american or on "our level" ...He's a politician, just like the rest of them. At the end of the day, he is STILL a politician. Not the good ol guy down the street.

Sick people have lengthy medical records.

And older politicians have more legislative experience.

In which case both candidates are evenly matched since the POTUS is an executive position.

McCain did not really release them. He allowed limited viewing of them. Does it not serve as any kind of red flag that any person of 72 years of age has 1500 pages in their medical files? He doesn't necessarily have to die in office, he can just become very incapacitated getting chemo therapy or recovering from stroke and the reigns go to Sarah "You betcha" Palin. (I shudder to think)

Your last comment can be replayed on the conservative side of the aisle, of refusing "to see the entire picture." Take the plank out of your eye before you start pointing fingers. Gimme a break.

As far as the media being "fair and balanced", I think you watch too much of Bill O'Reilly et al.
