| This whole defense thing is so interesting to me. Initially, they said they were going to call some sex workers and an expert witness. Now they have abandoned all that. |
Just from what little I've read, he is not only going to prison for life with no possibility of parole but he will also be buried on prison property so he can serve a prison term of after life for eternity! What a slime ball. I have no sympathy for those who were used by him because they stayed because the money was so good. Choosing money over self-respect and you earn every penny. |
| Trump will pardon him, so max is 3 years. |
|
I remember with the O.J. Simpson trial, black people were more likely to believe he was innocent and framed by the police.
Just curious, although it would obviously be a massive overgeneralization, if black people are more likely to want to see him convicted or found not guilty. |
Trump will pardon him in 3 days after sentencing. |
Blacks have hated this gatekeeping clown for 30 years. He’s a parasite. Blacks have also always known he was a gay. It was rumored in Harlem/Manhattan going back 30 plus years. |
No way he gets a life sentence based on the evidence presented. |
|
I will be surprised if he is convicted. I don’t think the prosecution has made a solid case in convincing the jury (lay people) that he has committed the crimes he is accused of
other than being an abusive sicko. I hope I’m proven wrong. If this was a case for abuse he would be under the jail. If he gets away with this…there’s no telling what he may do next. He will feel invincible. |
| I think he’ll get convicted and get 15 years but that Trump will pardon him very quickly. He already seemed open to it and lord knows Diddy has the cash to grease some palms. |
+1 I wonder why there was never a state prosecution based on the simpler charges of assault etc. Seems like more of a slam dunk and easier for jurors to understand. |
Agree. A few days ago, I felt pretty confident he would be convicted. Now I’m not so sure. What a POS. |

The prosecution presented testimony from 34 witnesses over six weeks. And the defense just rested its case after about 20 minutes. No witnesses; a few exhibits, and that was it. What a disappointment (not because I want Diddy to get off, but because he has brilliant lawyers and I was expecting something big from them.) They haven't presented any evidence to the jurors that disproves the case the prosecution has presented. They do have 4 hours for closing arguments, so this will be an opportunity for them to shine. They will be able to speak directly to the jurors. Maybe durig closing their case will be that they don't need a defense because the state did not prove their case? I don't know, that sounds like a risky strategy.
Tomorrow, the jury has the day off, and the judge and the lawyers will take care of the instructions that will be provided to the jurors. There are certain things the defense will want in and certain things the state will want in; the judge will decide all that tomorrow. Before the jurors start deliberating, the judge will spend a few hours with them going over the charges, defining the charges, explaining what can and cannot be considered, and he will also leave them with a set of written instructions. |

If Diddy gets off, then he's innocent in my book. If he's found guilty, then he's guilty. I'm not going to waste any of my life hating him and complaining about him like people did when OJ was acquitted in the criminal trial.
My gut instinct is that he won't be convicted on all the charges. All the prosecution has proved to me so far is that he likes "freak offs" and that Cassie and the others went along with them because they like the power, influence and money that Diddy has. All of them seem like a bunch of deviants. |
What an utterly unintelligent response. Clearly you have no morals. |
