At what age could your child count to 100?

Just curious.

At what age could your child count to 100, without stopping, without assistance.

Somewhere around his 3rd birthday.

It's easier to do in Chinese. If you know 1 to 10 in Chinese, you can do 100.

Late 4. Early 5. Can't remember exactly.

Late 3 - he could probably do it earlier but we had speech issues.

No need to get snarky. If OP was trying to brag she would have indicated at what age her precious snowflake counted to 100.

Counting to 10 before knowing the meaning of counting is what I call a "toddler party trick". My first two were counting in english, greek, spanish, doing the alphabet really early. Not because they were really super duper smart or gifted but because I taught them. Kids 3 and 4 are just as smart but do not have the extensive party trick list of the others. Simple as that.

My son is 5.5 and just mastered counting to 100. He was stuck at 49 for a while. In his kinder class they list counting to 100 as a skill they should have mastered before the end of the school year.

Totally agree. I'm the PP who posted 5 after two people posted 3. No shame here. Just not what we spent our learning/ memorization time on.
