Chocolate covered strawberries. Make sure the berries are dry. It is easy to melt chocolate even in the microwave, just don't over heat or cook the chocolate. Any supermarket has little wrappers like for cupcakes but smaller to put them in

Lemon chess pie, brownies, apple cranberry crisp, homemade ice cream or sorbet.

Cake or pie or something that doesn't need to go in the fridge, since you don't know if there will be room for it.

Strawberry shortcake not assembled. Some eat just the strawberries, or cake, or ice cream so it pleases everyone. And some just eat the whipped cream.

This! You can make them fancier by sprinkling mini chocolate chips or sprinkles on the chocolate before it hardens. Or if you dip the strawberry in dark chocolate, then melt some white chocolate, put it in a ziplock bag, snip a small hole in one corner and squeeze to drizzle the white chocolate horizontally over the already chocolate covered strawberries.

Trifle. You can make it as healthy or as decadent as you like, fruity or chocolatey or both Bonus: it looks awesome and is super easy to make.

Apple Dumplings...so easy...and vanilla ice cream. They will love you. So many recipes for dumplings online. All you need are apples, puff pastry and sugar.

As goofy as it sounds, I always make fruit pizza when I'm on the hook for a dessert at a group event. Sugar cookie dough covered with either whipped topping or a cream cheese mixture, with a variety of fruit on top. You can even drizzle some orange marmalade and sprinkle almond slivers. People love it every time.
