Go-to dessert to take to a dinner party?

Smitten Kitchen's best cocoa brownies. Most delicious things ever, super fudgy so you can cut them into fairly small pieces and still be satisfied, and fantastic with some good flaky sea salt sprinkled on top.

Flourless chocolate cake with raspberries and whipped cream. It is so easy and everyone will go nuts. It's as easy as brownies. This is a great recipe but some are even easier.

I forgot to mention I don't bother with the ganache on top. You don't need it.

Can the trifle people post their recipe(s)?

I'm the flourless chocolate cake poster but this is the best trifle I have ever made. It is a bit complicated but unbelievably good and you can by the pound cake instead of making it.

Anonymous wrote:As goofy as it sounds, I always make fruit pizza when I'm on the hook for a dessert at a group event. Sugar cookie dough covered with either whipped topping or a cream cheese mixture, with a variety of fruit on top. You can even drizzle some orange marmalade and sprinkle almond slivers. People love it every time.

Do you just roll out the sugar cookie dough like pizza dough, bake, and them let it cool completely before decorating?

I posted one above at 16:22. I recommend buying the pound cake instead of making it.
