Some would eliminate a couple from this list. Some would add their own institutions.

And in ranked order (arguable contenders):

1) Sidwell (St. Albans / NCS)
2) St. Albans / NCS (GDS)
3) GDS (Maret)
4) Maret (Georgetown Prep)
5) Georgetown Prep (Potomac)
6) Potomac (Holton / Landon)
7) Holton / Landon (Flint Hill / Episcop / St. Stephens St. Agnes / School without Walls)
8) Flint Hill / Episcop / SSSA / SWOW

This is right.

I am wondering if there is a ranking available between K-8 schools: Sheridan, Norwood, Langley, Lowell, etc. and including Beauvoir, a K-3, in the mix.

See the list above and add bvr right before sta/ncs, as about 90% (sometimes more) of bvr kids go to sta/ncs. They are connected obviously. So then...
(1) sidwell (bvr/sta/ncs)
(2) bvr/sta/ncs (gds)....

Barnesville school of arts and sciences??? More like Barnesville school or nepotism and featherbedding. They’re not getting a check from me for 2021-2022. It’s time to audit. It’s been close to 20,000 a year per child and all they do is hire Incompetent people who are their friends??? It’s time to audit, How is our tuition spent? It’s time for an IRS audit for special employee “benefits”. Another parent in my group of dissatisfied “consumers “ is startling a website about private schools and all comments will be posted and not locked out. We will be heard. Transparency will ultimately save this school. Website address will be posted as soon as it’s up and running

How'd Barnesville even make this thread of the Big 10?

This is not a surprise.

This thread should be unpinned and die. It just cements the impression of private school parents as status-seeking jerks. There's plenty of other evidence of that floating around on this forum; we don't need to lead with it.

But they are and cannot escape it. Keep this thread going and centralize the crazy. As a teacher in a Top 5 school, I can tell you, families need to watch out. Schools/teachers talk, we know who the crazy ones are. Ask to get the notes about your kid from the transition meetings at the end of the year. Ask a teacher if some parents have reputations, note how many times your emails are delayed when replied to.
