No the original text was from her. He just sent a pic so didn’t respond to her text and sent it to the wrong person |
I’m a woman and I think DCUM should be required reading for men who are married to women, for this reason. My DH used to tell me I was being paranoid when I’d talk about the passive-aggressive negging and gossip of women I knew, and was bothered by it. But now that he’s read enough if DCUM, he knows I’m not just imagining this stuff. Women can be absolutely awful to each other. I think Sarah Snook is and has always been gorgeous. My only criticism of her wardrobe in this episode is that her dresses need to be tailored better around her chest. It’s not a weight issue. A couple if things just looked ill fitting and I think a character with her means would be able to get someone to fix that easily. But I really only noticed it with the halter sundress she wore during the morning talk with Tom. |
I think this is spot on. If you watch the preview of next weeks episode very carefully, there is a scene with Logan sitting on a bench in Italy with Iverson. With his arm around him. Yes, the grandchild he had taste his food in case it was poisoned. |
No, he was pulling the pic from his photo stream and then sent it in response to the last text he received, not realizing his dad sent a “good job son” text after Gerri sent hers. |
Kendall is one of my least favorite characters and I can’t believe that people root for him. He treats people horribly even when he is not using. If he does then there may be more focus on Rava and the kids who are more sympathetic characters. |
| What is wrong with Roman? He seems to need serious therapy. |
Agree. The costuming was intentional. Also her character was in a frumpy slump at the beginning of the episode, dialing it in, and by the end she'd decided to take over the world after her conversation with her mom gave her insight to her dad's character. She is pulled together again during the showdown with Gerri. Most wealthy and powerful women have normal female bodies. PP is certainly stereotyping the wealthy. Actually, PP is probably thinking of the models often seen hanging around wealthy men, not the women actually related to them, and she's not likely thinking of most independently wealthy women at all. Likely doesn't know any IRL. |
Having gone to school wit some of the Murdoch kids, I’d say it’s spot on that they made the kids all so screwy. |
A tyrannical withholding father, absent mother, and cold calculating siblings? Hmm, what could have messed him up? |
Agree. She got married recently during Covid. Maybe she is pregnant. |

If you watch the preview of next week's episode, they have a very short frame of Kendall with long hair. So clearly that's a flashback because he's shaved his head.
That's the only shot of Kendall in the preview. I'm pretty sure he's dead. |
I really hope they’re just trying to make us think that. Kendall is the only character who even wants to be a good person, besides Tom who actually is one. There would be such a gap without Kendall. |
PP again. Also, the dinner scene seemed to foreshadow it. When Logan would not try the food, and Kendall asked “do you think I want you dead? I’ll be broken when you die.” Maybe Kendall’s suicide would be the thing to break Logan. |
| Nothing is going to break Logan. Actually think it will make the series more interesting if Kendall‘s dead. Also, they can have all the flashback scenes in the world. |
I'm a straight woman and I think she's smokin this season. |
