PP here And yes, I gave her the arm rest entirely, and she was still encroaching on part of my seat. She was not obese, just rude as hell. |
They were really selfish to get a window and isle seat and squish someone in the middle. It is pretty miserable to be in a situation like that but she needed to handle it better. She wasn't that thin either. They should have sat two seats together. They wanted to be comfortable at the expense of someone else. |
Next time you shouldn't hesitate to tell someone, esp. a teen/kid, to move her bag. No need to be rude but definitely let them know that is your space. |
+1 ESP a kid. They are completely oblivious to anyone but themselves. They just need to be reminded. |

DH works for an airline. You are incorrect. |
I feel like this should be a lesson learned. You realize that's a total di@k thing to say about gay people. Guess what it's also a di@k thing to say about fat people. |
No it doesn't. Different kind of suction. |
They don't need to nurse and its a safety issue if something happened/in a crash. You give them a bottle or pacifier or something else. And, not all babies nurse. |
You're all dead anyway if there's a crash. |
Did we see the same video?
Middle seat woman is passive-aggressively complaining on her phone to someone. Woman is silent while people scout for new seat, and then window woman decides to escalate it. She calls the FL and says that she "won't be verbally abused by this bitch" Really? After 30 seconds of silence? And the only comment directed at them - in response to aisle guy - was "I eat salads." Who was using foul language? Blonde woman gets defensive and then gets attacked by the other passengers, who apparently think she has been verbally abusing the fat people. I thought they were far worse. Did she handle things well? Hell, no. She should have just quietly asked the flight attendant to move her. The passive aggressive stiff was rude. But the fat passenger started the abusive name calling. |
If your plane crashes a car seat is not going to save anyone. |
It’s not about a crash, it’s about turbulence |
I have four kids (youngest is now 12) Each one nursed exclusively till six months, when they started solids. None of them ever had a bottle. I always bought each child a seat on flights and used a pacifier during take off. It was fine. |
