It was Eugenie's wedding but agree that it was nice that they waited. She seems healthy and energetic even after touching down in Australia.

So Harry’s children further bump E&B down the line for the crown, right?

Yep! More of a concern for Andrew their father though. He’s about to become #8 in line for the throne.

Go away, jealous harpy!

Let's not respond to people like this. I'm happy for the couple! Too bad they didn't have more time to be a couple together though. I do understand they were on a time restraint. Nice that the cousins will grow up together.

I'm hoping for one of each! A ginger lassie and a son like the cellist at their wedding...

If we’re talking long term I want them to have four kids! Which is why I’m hoping for twins but we’ll see.

I think those who are 9th or more have it the best! Who would want to be King or Queen? They have the perks without the pressure.

Among the wealthy, child-bearing can occur later because there are resources $$ to bring up the baby. Also, she is a very youthful 37!

I’m not wealthy or look particularly youngish but I easily got pregnant with my first at 37 and my second at 39. The kids are healthy and thriving. The thing with fertility is that you can’t tell what’s going on inside by what things look like on the outside

You're absolutely right, of course. I actually had the same experience! But it is true that higher socio-economic groups skew towards older moms. But back to the happy, happy news!

But Harry is going to be in the same position as Andrew in 25 years or so when Will and Kate's kids start having kids.

I wonder if Harry is going to be like Andrew and insist on the princess title for his kids, or take a more modern approach like his Aunt and Edward and refuse the title since Harry's kids will be so far down the line.

So what does this say about Zika? That it's wildly overblown as a threat or that the royals are so arrogant that they think it doesn't apply to them?

What month do the royals tend to announce pregnancies? She must be past the 12 week mark if she is showing already.

There isn't a 'set' month. It's dependent on the couple. Kate and William tried to wait on their first but a nurse managed to blab her condition (and illness) to the public when two radio jockeys tricked her into thinking it was the FREAKING QUEEN on the line.

Basically everyone knew Kate was pregnant at 8 weeks. And that continued for each pregnancy.

I think Meghan might announce in October (near her 16-day tour of Australia, New Zealand, etc) because A) She's able to work through her pregnancy (clearly), and B) Its her first - so I think she's treasuring the 'secret'
.

You called it too. Wow - spot on about when they'd announce.
