Ha! The cat's all "Settle down, kid! I want to get some shut eye!" And she keeps whacking him in the face.

What a love.

Ridiculous. OP, do you live in DC? Can we be friends? And by that I mean can I be friends with your daughter and cat?

Oh boy. I am NOT showing my 4yo son these, he's been bugging me for both a baby sister AND a cat for about 6mo now (neither is going to happen any time soon). These pictures are making me think he might have the right idea though . . .

We live in podunk, actually. Kitty prefers to be a big fish in a small pond.

He does have claws. I clip them pretty frequently and he has a scratching post he likes to use so they aren't very sharp. He has quite a bit of restraint, but he does have a limit on the amount of fur pulling he can take. Usually he will get up and walk away if it comes to that, but he is pretty tolerant for the most part.

lady you are nuts. Why do you want your cats paws so close to your baby's mouth and eyes???

He really is so gentle with her! What a special relationship. Thanks for posting OP. There was also this video I found, right after watching yours. Too cute!

Because she isn't getting enough kitty litter in her breast milk.

Thanks for sharing! Soooo sweet. Such a gentle cat. It really seems like your purring cat thinks your baby is his kitten.
