Who is coaching the Union 10s?

ML and NM.

Bethesda's pre-season being put on hold then.

It’s ok we’lll wait for them and your 2 best players per age group to join up in August. Already got one 2008 to cross the river. Kudos to Union management for helping write this narrative of folly. Please watch the games, they will be free by mid weekend. These weren’t exactly well coached nor executed games. Fortunately, talent always follows the coaches especially the ones we all know by initials

Any Idea how Union did for 2010 its the only game not posted from the 8am games. I saw VDA lost for 2010 as did Bethesda and Arlington in 2011.

This thread is cracking me up. Union 10s early on laughed at for their loss last year, then no props for being one of the few to make Richmond. Then criticize their coaching at the same time gloating that those same coaches are moving to your club. Stay classy Bethesda.

More talking less doing. Bring the west coast formula or diet plan. What is different there that we don’t have here? Maybe they talk less and work more. Who knows. Or maybe they have some real development coaches that know how to coach. Not the coaches we have here . Everyone thinks they are the Pep of the club.

Surprising that they're out because both of those teams were very impressive when we last played them. I figured one would make it to the finals. Great season and good luck next spring. We might have been happy to be there but outside of the SoCal blues game we hung in the other games, played more technical but couldn't score. Hit the post a few times, it is what it is, but a good experience nonetheless.

You don't realize how much better soccer exists in SoCal, Dallas, etc. Teams that look "very impressive" here in the mid atlantic are routinely humbled this time of year. It happens over and over

Good question for these overhyped coaches everyone is running after in the DMV. It is in those tournaments when these coaches get humbled. Yet everyone is chasing. There is no good development in DMV. All clubs are money grab and these coaches are more like
Salespeople for the clubs. And the parents with extra income in the DMV are happy to shell and keep chasing air these coaches sell to them. FOMO, badges and lying to the kids making them think they are the best are the issues that need to be addressed in the DMV. Young players too pumped up then boom the reality hits in nationals.

Is it worth it to go out West for playoffs when we know the outcome beforehand? Let's call playoffs what it really is. A showcase more than playoffs.

The girls here get to go West and play against those CA teams to realize top 25 national ranking in this region is really like a CA team ranked 75 or 100 nationally out there. Just accept that the level of play is different.
