Disgusting slander of this woman because she has different foreign policy views than the neo con warmongers. She has served this country in the military, including being deployed in the Middle East.

Yes. Her patriotism oozes out of her pores. Like puss.

Any soldier who appeases a regime that kidnaps children, burns apartment buildings with elderly still inside, lets their soldiers gang rape women is not exactly up to snuff. Parasha grade. She whines there is no strategy to end the war in Ukraine? They’re fighting to stay alive and live in their own country! I think she is the kind of scum who would support Hitler.

Hope she enjoys her spotlight from Russian TV.

It’s not only disgusting slander. It’s also so disturbing to see these people cheer on Al Qaeda.

I’ll cheer anyone who releases the thousands of brutally tortured Syrians detained in Assad’s slaughterhouse secret detention network. Some of them were imprisoned for several decades, and others were just children, presumably of prison rape, who he never seen the light of day.

When Gabbard went to Syria, Assad’s prison system, and his crimes against humanity were well known. Still, she chose to lie down with the devil.

It’s disgusting to see a former US Army MP complimented on Russian TV. I have little confidence that she will protect American intelligence about Russia.

The more I read this thread, the more I get the sense that posters here are about as in touch with reality as the ones in the "Trump Campaign Death Spiral" thread.

Muffle yer jets there sparky. Nobody is cheering on Al Qaeda. They are cheering the downfall of a brutal dictator, along with the defeat of his evil collaborators, Iran and Russia. One thing at a time. Cheering on the downfall of Assad is not the same as cheering on Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda will be next to either fall or change its ways. For one thing, I think neither Turkey nor Israel are going to tolerate an outright Al Qaeda-run country on their border, do you?

Those of us who can point to Tulsi Gabbard's actual, glowing comments about Syria are not the ones out of touch here. If anything we're far more in touch with reality than you are.

Hah, no. There's basically no way I can compete with how out of touch you are.

She was literally just taking appropriate action as a former soldier to avert a needless, embarrassing war, of which there had been many up to that point. It's way better than what anyone else was doing at the time. The whole friend of Putin/Assad thing only gained traction because Hillary Clinton openly smeared her, and that was because Clinton was miffed that someone had called her out for being a horrible person.

So it’s Hillary’s fault that all of the Russian propaganda networks are praising her?

Also, aides, both R and D, didn’t even trust her to know the identity of a Syrian witness. She is an authoritarian and treason-friendly pick. I expect no better from Trump, but everyone else should be opposed to her nomination.

She will be easily confirmed. Some of you people with your angry fantasies is amusing.

She is correct. There is no strategy to win the war in Ukraine. Biden's only fix for every problem is to dump more helicopter money on it.

Now, we're shooting down $2,000 drones with $2,000,000 missiles. You tell me hoe thay makes sense. You think you're going to bankrupt Russia by doing that? Hint: China, Iran and North Korea are supporting Russia's moves. WTF are you democrats doing about that?

For a minute. But unlike trumpers, we quickly realized she’s a grifter. And likely an enemy asset.

I think you meant embarrassing for Putin?

“We’re leaving,” said Fighterbomber, a Russian military blogger with close connections to Russia’s Air Force. “The upper headquarters have effectively stopped military operations and are negotiating corridors.”
