She was literally just taking appropriate action as a former soldier to avert a needless, embarrassing war, of which there had been many up to that point.  It's way better than what anyone else was doing at the time.  The whole friend of Putin/Assad thing only gained traction because Hillary Clinton openly smeared her, and that was because Clinton was miffed that someone had called her out for being a horrible person.[/quote]
