It’s even in a Tyler Perry movie, at least 3 novels etc. Plus it is what NYT said

Sidwell was also mentioned in the TV series Queen Sugar. One of the main characters was sent to live with his grandparents in DC, and that’s the school he attended. He was a legacy because he mother was also a Sidwell graduate.

DCUMs also know this soon-to-be-released book is based on Sidwell:

Please stop. You might have no shame, but I'm embarrassed for you.

You’re embarrassed for someone you don’t know on an anonymous forum?
You sound comically fragile. As soon as I finish this post, I won’t give this little exchange a second thought. 😆

+1. What's wrong with the Sidwell parents. They're pathetic.

😂

Y’all are so easily triggered by Sidwell, it’s parents, and it’s students. Just be better!

It’s so easy and amusing to antagonize y’all.
I may become bored soon.

Who cares about famous. Sidwell is just a pop sugar school for the non-connected. There has never been a Sidwell grad at the Alibi Club and there never will be.

Mr. Dodge was a Washington native and a graduate of Sidwell Friends School. He was a cum laude graduate of Princeton University.

He belonged to the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and the Chevy Chase, Metropolitan, Alibi and Princeton clubs. He was president of Burning Tree Club and a member of the U.S. Seniors Golf Association and the Three Score and Ten Golf Club.

Let me add that I don’t care about things like the Alibi Club, but apparently that’s important to you. 🙄

The lesson: Sidwell is over 140 years old and its graduates have been/are/will be present in every corridor of power in Washington, DC (official and unofficial).
You don’t have to like Sidwell, but you need to accept this fact.

Triggered by Sidwell, once again. Sad.

He claimed it but I just checked. Never a Member. Very gauche on his part but he knew he could get away with it.

Anonymous wrote:Was thinking about this. What DC Private would people say is most famous on a national level.

I think top three are: St Alban’s, Sidwell, and Prep. Any other rankings?

None. This is cringe-worthy.

Sure, you just “checked” and discovered that his family lied in his obituary. I’m sure they lied about him being a Princeton alum and former president of Burning Tree Club, too! 😂

No one cares about the Alibi Club, loser. Even the DC government thought the club’s building was abandoned. It’s a club for elderly men who are one hard cough away from death.
