The list in that article gave me a chuckle. I suppose it’s easy to be that bad if you have no shame. I think most of us would be humiliated to be exposed as someone so stupid, but this is obviously irrelevant to anyone willingly doing Trump’s bidding in 2024.

I don't know how you measure these things -- but the punitives at least are supposed to be in proportion to a defendant's net worth. The whole idea of punitive damages is for them to have a coercive influence against the defendant repeating the bad behavior. I don't know what Trump is actually worth, but the punitives are reasonable in light of what he says his net worth is.

And in light of the fact that he keeps on defaming her over and over.
